Adjustable GP saddles are great for ponies and their riders! From ponies changing shape throughout the year to your jockey moving on to their next pony – an adjustable saddle can be with you a long time! Which adjustable pony GP is right for you?

When deciding which adjustable pony saddle is right for you, you will need to decide whether you would like a leather or synthetic saddle, or a mixture of the two. All have moveable knee blocks which is perfect for the growing rider as they can be moved as the riders leg position changes.

You will need to consider what size you will need for pony and rider. Some are available in ½ inch increments and others in inch increments. All are available in 15” but not all go up to 16.5” - so if you need a 16.5” you are a little more limited on choice. Likewise if you have a small pony (12.2hh and under) you may need a very small saddle such as a 14 inch (or even smaller in some cases). It can be tricky to find a suitable saddle in tiny sizes as the options are limited. However, the Wintec 500 Pony is the only one from the popular adjustable pony GP saddles that comes in a smaller size. Therefore, its certainly worth having a look at this saddle.
