The Kent and Masters Pony saddle has been developed in four seat sizes to comfortably take the junior rider all through their pony riding years. There are three different Kent & Masters Pony models available. This includes the original Pony Club Saddle, the Pony Club Long Leg Saddle and the S-Series Pony Jump Saddle.
The Kent & Masters Pony Club Saddle
This saddle is a universal fitting general purpose saddle designed with shorter panels to suit ponies. Therefore making it well suited for all pony club activities. The seat shape encourages the junior rider to develop an independent seat by maintaining a central balanced position.
The Pony Club Saddle also benefits from:
- An open headed tree which ensures good wither clearance
- Short panels, to suit the smaller pony and the shorter leg of a junior rider
- Standard wither fitting to suit ponies that have a medium wither conformation
- Velcro knee and calf blocks which can be positioned to suit the comfort of the rider
- Five girthing options to ensure optimal stability
The Pony Club Long Leg Saddle
This saddle has been designed for junior riders with a longer leg but would particularly suit teenagers or petite adults on ponies. This model is a universal fitting general purpose saddle suitable for ponies and short backed horses.
This model shares the same design features as the original Pony Club Saddle but has a more forward cut flap in the front in order to accommodate a rider with a longer leg.
The Kent & Masters S-Series Pony Jump Saddle
This Saddle has been designed for junior riders wanting to focus on jumping. This model has more forward cut flaps and moveable knee and calf blocks to support the junior rider's leg whilst riding with shorter stirrups in a jumping position. The saddle shares several design features with the adult S-Series Jump Saddle but is constructed on a smaller tree, more suited to ponies and therefore takes a different gullet bar.
This S-Series Pony Jump Saddle has been designed to a higher specification providing a more luxurious feel and appearance. It also features the following details:

- A pony tree with longer, swept-back points to support the front of the saddle and allow freer shoulder movement.
- A seat shaped to enable the rider to dynamically adjust their centre of balance over the fence.
- Broad panels for maximum surface contact with the pony’s back.
- Velcro knee and calf blocks under the flap which can be positioned to suit your leg length and position.
- Changeable girthing arrangement which allows saddle stability to be optimised for various types of pony conformation and different movement
Gullet Bars
The Kent and Masters Pony range all take the S Bar. This is the shorter gullet bar which offers sizes from narrow meduim up to Extra Extra Wide.
They are really easy to alter the width yourself as and when your pony changes shape, and your fitter can quickly make these alterations for you on your regular appointments.
