Monarch Pony GP Saddle
The Monarch Pony GP saddle is fantastic, affordable, yet luxurious full leather saddle for pony riders at all levels.
Built on a lightweight flexible tree with an easy fit gullet system makes it a popular choice.
The saddle offers good spine channel clearance, to ensure your pony is comfortable.
The front gusset, and flocked panel enable your fitter to add and adjust the flocked panel to get the perfect fit on your pony.
Removable/adjustable velcro blocks are perfect as junior riders grow, the blocks can be re-positioned to suit and support their leg position.
Monarch Pony Jump Saddle
The Monarch Pony Jump saddle is a superb saddle for and junior show jumper! Being full covered leather, with double contrast stitching it will make your rider feel like the pro they are.
Build on a lightweight flexible tree, with the monarch easy fit gullet system makes it a popular choice.
The flaps are forward cut to support your junior show jumper over the fences, with the secure seat giving the rider greater flexibility.
The Velcro blocks accommodate various leg lengths, and can be re-positioned to suit your growing child.
With wool flocked panels, which offers a closer feel, to enable greater communication between horse and rider.
Who are they suitable for?
The Monarch Pony GP and Jump are fantastic junior saddles.
Available in size 15 inch and 16 inch seat, with adjustable gullet from Narrow to XXWide, and wool flocked panels they are very versatile.
If you have a pony with a standard wither, and a junior rider this could be perfect for all pony club activities.

Our opinion
Monarch are great value and the pony range is perfect for junior riders to carry out all PC activities, as well as everyday riding and hacking for small adults and teens. The Monarch Pony saddles are great alternatives to Kent and Masters Pony saddles. The flocked panels and adjustable gullet make them an ideal choice and great investment, as they can be used on various ponies, if your child/children change ponies.

An Honest Review - Polly & Star
Polly so was thrilled with the Monarch Pony saddle she bought from The Saddle Bank that she wanted to share her experience with others. Below you can read Polly's experience of The Saddle Bank and how the Monarch Pony saddle works for her and her pony Star.
My names Polly Ovington and I fully loan a 15yrs young - 13.2hh strawberry roan spot, trotter X called star boy. I’ve loaned star since May 2021 and originally only planned on doing pleasure rides, fun at home and hacking out. However he’s turned into so much more! By mid year we’d purchased a trailer and were out competing unaffiliated showjumping and having bags of fun! He’s got so much potential!
With star being a small pony and quite short backed taking a 16” saddle maximum, I struggled with his current saddle with the support needed for a small adult rider. I felt like I needed to look for something to help us both out. Because we’re both more into our jumping I thought looking into a jump saddle to help with leg and thigh support would be perfect!
The Saddle Bank were so swift with their response to my email regarding certain saddles and answered any questions I had to the very best of their knowledge. Sending me various different options that could possibly be a good fit to purchase and trial for when my fitter came.
I chose The Saddle Bank purely because I’ve heard many good reviews about them and I know you always get your moneys worth as they are extremely fairly priced for the quality of the saddles.
The saddle chosen and purchased was a 16” brown monarch pony jump. The saddle was second hand but I cannot find a mark on it. Extremely beautiful saddle and ever so comfy, fits star so well and he feels like he can move a lot more freely in this too. I feel so much more secure in my riding too, so much so we pushed the limits last weekend and jumped a height we’d never have imagined. We can’t wait to both get out competing unaffiliated this year … and now in incredible comfort!
I wouldn’t have been able to do this or feel safe enough to have done so with my old saddle.! Thank you The Saddle Bank!
