Which range does it come from?
The Equipe Emporio Dressage comes from the Emporio line as the name suggests. This is Equipe's entry level range which is perfect for those looking for a quality Italian brand on a budget. The range includes the Emporio Dressage, Jump, Endurance and Icelandic saddles.
What seat size is the Equipe Emporio available in?
This model is available in 15, 16, 17, 17.5, and 18 inch. Therefore, there is a good range of sizes available whether your jockey is a junior, or if its for yourself. This saddle is most commonly found in seat sizes 17, 17.5 and 18 inch secondhand. You need to consider the correct width for your horse too. All Equipe saddles are stamped with a serial number. At the end of the serial number, the saddle may say +1, +2 etc. This would indicate it is +1cm wider than medium or +2cm wider than medium. If the saddle does not have anything stamped at the end of the serial number we can assume it is a medium fit. If you are unsure on what size would work for your horse, speak to our team who will be able to help.
What colour is it available in?
The Emporio Dressage is available in both black and brown. Black is the most popular colour for dressage riders. Therefore, 99% of the Equipe dressage saddles you see will be in black. What type of leather is it?
Equipe use the finest quality Italian and French full grain hides from environmentally certified tanneries. Natural calf is drum-tanned and pure aniline dyed, using only plant substances for leather tanning to ensure the quality of the natural colour. Only the best of these hides is selected and allowed to enter the craftsmanship processing cycle to become a stunning saddle.
What type of tree is it built on?
The Emporio line trees are synthetic trees. This means they are made from lightweight materials.
How does the weight of Equipe saddles compare to other brands?
If you pick up an Equipe saddle you will notice how light it is in comparison to some other brands. There is also a lot less bulk with an Equipe saddle in comparison to more traditional English brands. This is due to the type of tree within the saddle, minimal flaps and foam panel design.
