Needless fee

Thank you for your feedback. We completely understand your frustration, but we’d like to clarify that the fees charged do not even cover the full costs we incur in handling your saddle. These include booking couriers, receiving and unboxing the parcel, inspecting, cleaning, photographing, listing it on our website, advertising, storage, insurance, managing trials, and finally packaging and returning the saddle to you.
When a saddle is returned to the owner unsold, we actually operate at a loss. That’s why it is very much in our best interest to get your saddle sold — we gain nothing from having saddles sitting on the pegs in the warehouse. I can see that your saddle did go out on trial numerous times, but unfortunately it did not fit those potential buyers.
We’re genuinely sorry it didn’t sell on this occasion and hope this helps explain the reasoning behind the fees. Thank you for using our service, and we do hope you’ll consider us again in the future.
