Check flocking
lovely saddle, quick delivery however when my saddler came to fit it to my horse we discovered the flocking is synthetic which now needs to be fully reflocked. The flocking was also lumpy.

We’re sorry to hear your saddler found the flocking lumpy. Just to clarify, synthetic flocking is the standard used in all GFS saddles, apart from their very newest models. Because of this, it’s quite normal for the flocking to need some adjustment once the saddle is fitted to your horse. We always recommend having a saddle reflocked or balanced by your fitter to ensure the best possible fit.
