I had held off selling my old saddle as I didn't want to go through the faff of getting it put online and then waiting for offers and sorting postage. The saddle bank came up on a search and was so easy to use. I just uploaded pictures and got given the option of two prices depending on whether I wanted to sell it immediately or wait for it to be sold. I chose to sell it to the saddle bank and then get the money more swiftly. The saddle bank organised the pick up of the saddle and even responded swiftly to my request to change the date. They also provided good advice on how to package the saddle. The only issue I had was in finding the right kind of box to send it in as whilst the saddle bank usefully provided the dimensions and box sturdiness details I found it hard to source just one of these boxes. In the end I had to buy 5 and these were fairly costly. However, once sent the saddle was quickly reviewed by the saddle bank and payment was made promptly without issue. I highly recommend this method as an easy way to sell saddles if you want a quick and hastle free sale. The only improvement would be if the saddle bank provided the box to post it in too!
