When you choose Old for New, we calculate 10% of the price of your chosen brand new saddle at full retail price and add that amount to what we pay you for your old saddle.
So instead of discounting the new saddle, you receive that value as extra on your payout for your existing one.
How It Works
- Get a quote for your current saddle through our Sell a Saddle page.
- Choose your brand new saddle from our range at full retail price.
- We calculate 10% of the new saddle price and confirm that this value will be added to your payout for your old saddle.
- Buy the new saddle from our website and take it on trial to ensure it is the perfect fit.
- Send us your old saddle, we complete checks, and pay you the quoted saddle price plus 10% of the new saddle value.
It is quick, transparent, and gives you extra value when upgrading to a new saddle.
Worked Examples

You buy the new saddle for £2,500 + delivery fee, and then get this amount back:
New saddle price: £2,500 → 10% = £250
Your existing saddle quoted at (amount we will pay you): £750
Total payout: £750 + £250 = £1,000 -
You buy the new saddle for £1,895 + delivery fee, and then get this amount back:
New saddle price: £1,895 → 10% = £189.50
Your existing saddle quoted at (amount we will pay you): £900
Total payout: £900 + £189.50 = £1,089.50
The Details
- The 10% uplift is based on the full retail price of your chosen brand new saddle
- Applies to brand new saddles at full retail price only
- One offer per transaction

- Your saddle must pass our standard checks and be sound and fit for purpose
- Any saddle found with a non-repairable issue will be returned to the sender
- Saddles with repairable issues (such as small stitching work) will be quoted accordingly
