Recent Thorowgood T8 Dressage Saddle Purchase
Hi. From start to finish communication from The Saddle Bank was faultless. I received invaluable advice regarding saddle fit after I had sent through relevant information & photos of my mare. After I’d made my choice buying online & booking a delivery date couldn’t have been easier. The saddle arrived on time & is in great condition..my horse & I love it! The after sale service has also been exemplary. I would highly recommend The Saddle Bank.

Super easy Saddle sale
I recently purchased a saddle for my young Belgian Draft mare. Due to her continuing to grow and change shape I have had to purchase a second saddle within the space of only a few months. I contacted the saddle bank to enquire about selling the original saddle and was surprised at how simple it was. They were very responsive and provided all the options available for selling and what I needed to do.
It was as simple as providing some information and photos and waiting for their offer. Once I had accepted the offer it was as easy as parcelling the saddle up and waiting for collection.
The whole process from first contact to payment was around a week, couldn't have been any easier.

I’ve never sold a saddle before and quite frankly was worried about the whole process!! The saddle bank staff were so helpful and friendly and the entire process was so simple and very quick payment! All you had to do was add some pictures and information about your saddle and you’ll get a quote in no time!

Brilliant experience from start to finish , the saddle bank arranged collection of my saddle at no extra cost was kept updated on the collection time slot and payment was made into my bank a few days later after they had received the saddle

Very useful
I’ve sold three saddles via the saddle bank - all have been relatively hassle free.
A few things I would change :
1) don’t make it mandatory to type in a figure that you’d accept for the saddle. Each time I’ve been offered just below the figure I’ve put which makes me think the default answer is to lowball the accepted figure even if low already. Removing this would make it fairer for the seller.
2) Be more transparent about when a saddle has sold. When using the commission option I was only told about the sale of the saddle after I chased up. Not when it actually occurred. Not a deal breaker but would have been helpful to know so that I could anticipate the money in advance.
Other than that it’s a relatively easy process and a service I will probably use again :)

I bought a lovely saddle from here, have had a few saddles now and always been happy.
when it turned up it was in much nicer condition than I initially expected(practically brand new) and it came with the branded matching saddle cover (and sweeties!) the team were super helpful and lovely when I did need to chat to them and I’m really pleased with my saddle. Thank you!

Really pleased with Saddle Bank. I sold two saddles to them directly and they took another two on commission, and the whole process was sleek and hassle-free from start to finish. Fantastic experience
The whole process of selling my saddle was so efficient . Jade reached out to me and offered me a fair price and collection was the next day . I was then paid only days later . The communication was really good at each stage of the process . I won’t hesitate to use the saddle bank again .

Bought a saddle and traded mine in
I have found the saddle bank to be brilliant. Any query I had was answered with such professionalism, knowledge and overall good customer service. I had seen a saddle that i really liked, unfortunately it was out on trial. I emailed that saddle bank and they advised me of other saddles what were available and also told me to sign up for alerts for it the saddle came back in to store. I did this and I was super lucky it came back off trial and I was alerted to which I was fortunate enough to have trialed the saddle and kept it. I was then lumbered with 3 saddles which i did not need. I uploaded my saddle to their site and was given a quote, my saddle was packaged off and within 48 hours of inspection the money was in my bank which helped pay for the one I’d just bought. The saddle bank will have a returning customer, I was very impressed with the whole service from start to finish.

The go to place
The Saddle Bank has been my go to place to look for sadles over the past few years. Great selection, efficient service and helpful staff when you call. If I could vchange one thing it would be how the Filter function operates. I would like to be able to enter all filters and then press search.
