Who are Wintec?

What is the Wintec Wide Range?

Wintec introduced a range specifically for wider horses and cob types. These models are great for wider, broad backed, low wither types, and are designed to support the rider whilst providing optimum comfort. Recently Wintec saddles have had a HUGE upgrade.. and we love them!

The Wintec WIDE range encompasses both the 500 and 2000 range. 

Wintec 500

Wintec 500 saddles are made from 'Equi-Leather' which is an easy clean, synthetic material which is lightweight and maintenence free. 

Saddles in this range are more affordable and slightly more lightweight than the 2000 range. 

Wintec 2000

Wintec 2000 saddles also known as the 'Pro' range feature 'Equi-Suede' seat and knee pads for a more luxurious feel. They are priced a little higher than the 500 range to reflect this, but offer extra grip and support to riders who need it. 

What is HART?

In 2020, Wintec renamed their Easy-Change Gullet system, and CAIR panels, and combined them into the HART system.
HART stands for Horse and Rider Technology.

Wintec a proud to promote HART offering the next level of unparalled comfort, through its protective cushioning with the CAIR panels, adjustability with the Easy Change solution gullet bars. The saddles are also fitted with the elastiflex tree offering ergonomic flex, free movement with panel performance technology, and superior rider comfort, support and performance through the comfort seat technology.

Easy-Change Gullet

All Wintec saddles are designed with an adjustable gullet system. This provides a quick and easy way of adjusting the width of the saddle to fit correctly over the horses withers. This can be very beneficial when considering horses that change shape, for example young horses that are still maturing, horses that have been out of work and lost muscle tone and horses that gain or lose weight regularly.

With the Wintec Wide models, you can use the following:

White = X-Wide

Lilac = XX- Wide

Purple = XXX-Wide

Dark Purple = XXXX-Wide

Wintec 500 Wide All Purpose

The Wintec 500 AP (All Purpose) is a fabulous saddle for everyday riding, schooling, hacking and great for jumping and dressage too!
