Fairfax Andrew Hoy saddles are a popular mono-flap jump saddle developed with seven-time Olympic Event Rider Andrew Hoy. In 2023, the Fairfax Andrew Hoy was re-modelled and renamed the Fairfax Eros Monoflap XC. Fairfax is a world-renowned saddle manufacturer of high-quality adjustable saddles. A vast amount of research and testing goes into the design of the saddles. All Fairfax saddles offer the option to adjust the width by changing the gullet bar in the saddle. The Fairfax Andrew Hoy is a close contact saddle, and the Performance Panels are scientifically proven to free the shoulder in flight, allowing the horse greater freedom of movement and, therefore, aid in the horse’s scope over a fence and stride length. The Fairfax Andrew Hoy features a large surface knee block covered by a padded kneel roll. This, alongside the fixed surface calf block, offers the rider comfort and support in the saddle, over fences and galloping on the cross-country course. The Andrew Hoy saddle works well on a wide range of standard wither profile horses; the wool-flocked panels mean that a saddle fitter can make minor adjustments to get the best fit. The Fairfax Andrew Hoy takes the R-Bars, which are adjustable from Narrow Medium up to Extra Wide – Extra Extra Wide.
