The GFS Monarch Cob Jump saddle S666 has been a long-awaited saddle. Very few cob jump saddles are available, with many cob options being more general-purpose and fairly straight-cut. The Monarch Cob Jump saddle is a forward-cut jump saddle explicitly designed with the wider, cobbier type horse in mind. This saddle enables the rider to achieve the optimum jumping position, whilst the quilted stitching on the panels allows the horse to have freedom of movement through the shoulder. The generous channel provides sufficient spinal clearance for our wider friends. GFS Monarch saddles all feature the X-Change Gullet system, meaning the width can easily be altered from Narrow up to 4XWide. Therefore, this saddle can accommodate many of the widest of breeds! GFS Monarch saddles feature flocked panels. However, the flocking used from the new is a siliconized flock, which requires less maintenance than a traditional wool flock. It prevents ball ups, lumps and bumps within the panels. Front gussets enable the fit adjustments to be made by your saddle fitter and ensure a better fit.
The Monarch Cob Jump saddle features a flatter seat, allowing the rider greater flexibility. The velcro knee blocks can be positioned to suit the rider, and the padded knee rolls ensure rider comfort. Intrinsic stitching detail and a reinforcement strip feature on the external flap are thoughtful details that provide a quality, attractive, and functional saddle.
