The GFS Monarch VSJ S612 saddle is a much-loved General Purpose Jump saddle. VSJ means 'Very Slightly Jump'. The Monarch VSJ saddle is a smart, full leather saddle featuring an attractive square cantle. GFS Monarch saddles all feature the X-Change Gullet system, meaning the width can easily be altered from Narrow to Extra Extra Wide. Therefore, this saddle can accommodate a range of different horses! Suited to horses with a standard wither and average back profile. GFS Monarch saddles feature flocked panels. However, the flocking used from new is a siliconized flock which is lower maintenance than traditional wool flock. It prevents ball ups, lumps and bumps within the panels. Front gussets enable the fit adjustments to be made by your saddle fitter and ensure a better fit.
The Monarch VSJ saddle features a semi-deep seat, enabling multi-purpose uses such as schooling, hacking, jumping and low-level dressage. The velcro knee blocks can be positioned to suit the rider, and the padded knee rolls ensure rider comfort. The flap on the VSJ enables the rider to shorten their stirrups to achieve a better jumping position. Variable girthing options, including the point and balance strap, ensure stability and perfection of fit.
