Find a big box first

Excellent service. I was selling my saddle back to them having bought it off them a year ago. I just wish I’d kept the box it came in initially. It took me a while to find a big enough box to send the saddle back in, and I had to get a lot of packing materials together to make sure I was happy that it it would be secure in transit but it was fine and I received my money in 3 days. I packed my saddle with an old sheet to protect the leather as well as lots of bags and newspapers scrunched up plus and old towel to make sure it didn’t get scratched.

A really smooth service!

I had been keeping my eye out for a specific saddle to become available on the saddle bank and when it did the service I received was perfect. They explained exactly the process that I needed to go through. The people I spoke to were clear and helpful and the saddle arrived in perfect condition and exactly when they said it would. I have used the Saddle Bank a few times over the years, firstly to sell a saddle of mine (which they did, quickly and effortlessly), then to purchase a second hand one (with the amazing Amy, she came out with a huge selection of stock and nothing was too much trouble) and then for advice on what would fit my new horse as we had moved out of their area. Every time the Saddle Bank staff have been so kind, thorough and extremely knowledgeable; they are always willing to help, will go above and beyond to offer advice and provide information even if it isn't going to result in a sale for them. Sold two saddles to the Saddle Bank

I was looking for an easy straightforward way of selling two saddles that we no longer needed. I have heard nightmare stories about people selling privately online and I felt that selling via the Saddle Bank would be more secure and straightforward. I followed the process on the website which was really easy and straightforward, filling in the details and uploading the photos that they needed, again which was really easy. Within an hour I had one valuation and the second one came the following day. I spoke to the office with a few questions about boxing up the saddles and they were really helpful. I liked the fact that the saddles are insured by them once picked up by their courier. I accepted the offers online and chose my preferred courier pick up time. Within a few days I received emails to confirm that the saddles had been received and payment arrived in my bank account.
