Buying & selling

I bought a saddle from the saddle bank. I had it on trial. The trial ended on a bank holiday and I was going on holiday the next day do couldn't be in for the courier. The saddle bank accommodated an extended trial and in the meantime I decided to buy as the saddle was one my saddler knew would fit. I decided to sell my then current saddle and while I wasn't offered the price I had in mind it was a very easy transaction and they paid the courier fee as I chose their sell outright option. I would use both their buy and sell options again as they are convenient.

quick hassle free experience

although it wasn't the price I was hoping for I decided to go with the outright sale for speed and it was very straightforward. I had to buy a box from yellow storage as I struggled to find one big enough elsewhere. DPD collection was very efficient and the money was in my account 48 hours later.

Fantastic service again!

This is the second time I have purchased through the Saddlebank, and have kept two out if the three saddles I trialled! I've also successfully sold one previously with them after ages battling with marketplace. Great stock of saddles and the ability to book them ahead of my fitter coming is brilliant I've used that function both times to make sure the saddles I wanted are available. Will definitely be using again should I need to if I get another horse!

Saddle in trial

My saddler recommended I use the saddle bank as a way to trial different saddles and brands before purchase which was a great idea as I found exactly what I was looking for. The process was quick, easy and after negotiation I had a lovely fitted saddle for a good price.

Dreadful Service

Absolutely THE worst company I have ever dealt with. Shocking service, left arm doesn’t know what the right arm is doing. Offers declined then asking for offers and the offering better offers than the first decline. 2 saddles lost and owed me for them for more than 6 weeks. And even at that point, they couldn’t agree between themselves how much they owed. Will absolutely never recommend.

Review

Following advise from my saddle fitter I found lots of saddle choice with the saddle bank & very fair prices. The saddle I bought looked brand new & is in excellent condition. I emailed with some questions & received a prompt, informative & helpful response. My only issue was that I chose a specific delivery date to coincide with my saddle fitter visit, however this was not picked up on the system. The system had also not charged me delivery & it was only because I received a phone call about this & double checked the delivery date that I discovered the error. This was rectified but had it not been for the call the saddle would have been delivered too early. Overall I was very happy with the saddle & service I received from tbe saddle bank & would happily recommend them.
