Recognising Saddle Fit Issues

At last a saddle that fits

My journey started with a Stubben, stupid as didn’t like it but I needed something. Because I didn’t like it I bought a Wintec 500, but could see that didn’t fit. By now I had a date for the saddle fitter. Got confirmation neither suited the mare (only long reined) but gave a couple of suggestions. Mare is going off to be restarted, so had to act quickly & as luck would have it one came up which I dropped off to trainer. Guess what didn’t fit & nothing could be altered on the K&M to make it fit. This saddle fitter gave some suggestions & then sent a link for 3 with The Saddle Bank. Of course it was the most expensive of the 3. It arrived on Saturday as promised delivered to trainer Sunday & saddle fitter gave the all clear Monday. And not one alteration needed. The saddle is in good condition & fits her well. I have yet to try it out but I’m not concerned about me at this point. What made it so much harder my mare is croup high. Hoping as she is a 5yo TB she might level up a bit. Moto go with someone who has multiple choice & offers a return service. I’m now stuck with 2 saddles & a depleted savings account 😭

Amazing customer service

Tameka answered my 100 questions with detail, thoughtfulness and endless patience. It made me feel so much more confident about buying a saddle online from halfway around the world. The saddles I took on trial were in perfect shape, and when a delivery didn’t work out with my scheduled saddle fitting I was able to extend my trial without issue. My horse has been impossible to fit with saddles available locally to me in the US and I was finally able to find him a saddle that he likes and I do too. The price was also very affordable and shipping was insanely fast!!

Great service

I recently bought a saddle. I couldn’t get my saddle fitter until after the trial period. It was quite stressful coordinating me being at home for delivery and also getting my fitter out. Saddle bank were very understanding and held the saddle for me for a period of time and also extended my trial period which was very useful.

Buying a saddle? Look no further!

Having spoke to my saddler about the make and size of saddle that would fit my youngster, I then looked on saddlebank. I am so glad I did, there was a chunky monkey saddle for my chunky monkey! I ordered it there and then, but was a bit worried when I had to change the delivery date to fit my saddlers availability. My worry was unfounded, i got an email over the weekend assurring me this wasn't a problem. Everything was seamless from ordering through to delivery. The saddle arrived on time in the expected condition and was very well packaged, and best of all it fits perfectly - a very happy customer!

Excellent Service
