The Synergy Special Monoflap is part of the Theoreme range on the lightweight synthetic Theoreme tree; this, alongside the foam panels, makes the Expression a very lightweight saddle. The saddle's close contact and anatomical design improve the feel and communication between horse and rider. The Synergy Special Monoflap has fixed surface knee and calf blocks, which support the rider's leg position, and the padded knee rolls offer the rider extra comfort. The Expression Special has a flatter jump seat so the rider can move about the seat without restriction whilst jumping and galloping a cross country. The Equipe Synergy Special Monoflap works well on horses with a bit more shape to their back profile.
