All Thorowgood saddles are synthetic, lightweight saddles for those who prefer easy clean, low maintenence and budget friendly saddles. 

Thorowgood offer a wide range of models with different tree/panels designs to suit a range of conformation profiles. They also offer 2 ranges, the T4 (synthetic with suede effect seat and knee pads) and the T8 (hybrid leather look saddle). Popular models within their ranges include their Cob GP (MGX), Pony Club GP(MPO), and Compact GP (MGC) to name a few popular models, each of which has specific design features to suit the horses profile. 

Thorowgood saddles are easy to adjust using the SIMA gullet bars which come in 2 options. The S Bar (short bar) designed for pony and cob models. The R Bar (longer bar) designed for round cantle saddles such as GP/Dressage models.

When purchasing an adjustable gullet saddle, we recommend taking 2 spare gullet bar widths to make any necessary alterations to the saddle during your trial, and as the horse changes shape throughout the year.
